Shoe Lust

Those who know me know that I love love love shoes. I haven't been able to go shoe shopping as much as I like so I'm left with surfing the net and hoping that these shoes will magically appear in my shoe closet. These Alexander McQueen boots look very S&M to me. I don't think I could pull them off, but they are fun.

Home Decor on Etsy

So since I'm obsessed with Etsy, I thought it would be fun to share items that are on my wish list. I do need more pillows for our sofas and would rather buy from indie designers than ones that are mass produced from big corporations. Finding these makes me want to sew, but I think making jewelry and knitting keeps me busy enough.

New Project

So I've been making jewelry like crazy and have turned our kitchen into my jewelry bench. I need to make 70 pairs of earrings to be sent out in a couple of days, so it's been madness and my eyes are about to go cross-eyed. But it's all good because it's for MTV goody bags, which I'm really excited about!


I'm almost done so we'll soon be able to eat at our kitchen table again. I hope I'll be able to post some pics of celebrities holding or wearing my goods! Stay tuned...

Party at the Gatsby

This past weekend, Gene's sister, brother-in-law and niece flew in from San Francisco, so Gene and I had a little party so that everyone could meet the little tyke. Gene made a few hors d'oeuvres for the guests while I sat back and drank. Well, I helped clean while he was doing the hard work. On the menu was Flank Steak, Thai guacamole, tuna tartar on endives and lamb meatballs. All of it was eaten up; it was so yummy! Thanks Gene!
