Custom Bridal Earrings
I was so excited when soon to be married, Amy, contacted me through Etsy to create custom earrings for her bridesmaids. She told me that she loves the Luxe Green Amethyst hoops, but wanted something with yellow to match the bridesmaids dresses.
She sent me a picture of the dress, and I knew that the citrine stones I have would be perfect. So that she could stay within her budget, (she has 5 bridesmaids) I created a smaller version of the earrings. I'm very happy with the way they came out, and think that Amy will be pleased too. Pretty yes? And the dress is super cute! Now I don't know what shoes they'll be wearing, but I went and found a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti shoes that I thought would complete the ensemble.
Amy, thanks so much for letting me be part of your special day!

Celebrity Style - Emma Watson
I just read this morning that Emma Watson (she plays Hermione in the Harry Potter movies) has decided to attend Brown University. The accompanying picture was of her wearing a vintage Ossie Clark print dress. Love the dress which you can see her wearing on the left. On the right is her in this cute Jason Wu number. I did some searches to see other outfits, and I love her style.
She has grown up to be quite lovely, and smart too. Love the shoes! ;)

My One and Only
I've just created a new section in my shop called "My One and Only" which are one of a kind or last pieces, that I will no longer create. Here's a sampling, and some haven't been listed yet, so it's a bit of a sneak peak.
If you see something here or on my Facebook page that is not yet in the store, please contact me at june @ juneshin.com.

some birthday pics
My birthday co-celebration was about 3 weeks ago, but I just wanted to share some pics from the day. As you can see, the party was more for my niece then me, but that's ok. I already had 34 of them and this was her second. I think her favorite thing was the balloon, and she was so excited to blow out the candles!
For this party, the hubby slaved in the kitchen for hours and hours marinating and cooking up 3 different kinds of meat, for Korean tacos. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of them, but believe me, they were a huge hit. We also got 2 small cakes from Cafe Maum, a Korean bakery. Their desserts tend to be very light and not as sugary as French desserts, but since I like the sweet stuff, I got about 20 cupcakes from the Atlanta Cupcake Factory. All in all, a great birthday for my niece and me.
