Who says

that wedding shoes have to be white or ivory? I just came upon this site, Style Me Pretty and saw these beautiful red shoes. The site only credits the photographer, so I don't know the shoe designer. I went shoe shopping last week and was only looking for white, ivory or silver shoes. But after seeing this, I will be broadening my search. I love the splash of red!

I never imagined wedding shoes to be white or silver...

LOL! :)

I'd want a pair of really pretty, flower-covered petals, like those Louboutin Rose Petal shoes.

That looks so amazing... if you had told me, with no imagery, I wouldn't have been convinced.

(I still need to do my 6 things about myself, I can't think of anything interesting ahh!!)

I love this idea! And if you are following that particular bridal tradition, your shoes could be your "something blue".

I had white wedding shoes because of my mom who was annoying the crab out of me that I have to have white pair of shoes, but if I wasn't listening to her, I would have a color pair of shoes...I love this red pair ;)

The pair of red shoes with the gown is so whimsical and pretty! I wouldn't be donning a wedding gown for sometime yet but I do know that I will be wearing blue shoes with it, as a reference to my "something blue".

I think that would be so appropriate. The splash of color....especially to show a peek of your personality! That pair are EXTRA cute!!!!

My family friend was married in a big stunner of a fling at the Ojai Valley Inn. She is not shy. She has eclectic taste, and carries it all off perfectly, and with no apologies...and she does it so well!

She wore an Victorian inspired Valentino gown paired with fuchsia satin Christian Loubitin pumps!...and all her 'girls' had feathers in their hair.
There is no mistake in being bold.

I think that's a great idea...

I wore silver, personally. I never thought of getting white.
